Daily maintenance and maintenance suggestions for laser caliper

The laser caliper adopts the principle of laser scanning and is a non-contact optical measuring instrument. Due to its high measurement accuracy, it is required that the measurement area and the measured object show no dust, water, oil or other substances that affect the measurement during use. Therefore, during the use of the laser caliper, it is required that the user try to achieve the following points as much as possible:

1. Selection of installation location
For the selection of installation location, try to choose an area with a better environment and stable product operation for installation. The ground to be installed should be kept flat
2. After the device installation is completed, please do not move it frequently
Installation and debugging completed, please do not move the device frequently; Be sure to unplug the power when moving the device
3. It is strictly prohibited to dismantle product accessories at will
Do not disassemble any internal or external components of the laser caliper during use, as disassembly may cause product malfunction.
4. Regularly clean the dust on the lens protection window
Within the measurement area, the protective glass windows of the transmitting and receiving ends are areas that require special maintenance. Regularly wipe the surface of the glass windows with soft fabrics such as non-woven fabrics and eyeglass cloths dipped in 95% anhydrous alcohol (fingers, hard fabrics, etc. are not allowed to wipe) to ensure that these two areas are free of dust, stains, and water mist.  
5. Clean the dust and do not scratch the protective window surface
When cleaning the lens protection window, be sure to clean the dust and do not scratch the mirror surface of the protection window. When there are scratches on the mirror surface, it will cause measurement errors in the caliper. If the above situation occurs, you can contact Beijing Ruide at any time to replace the protective window lens with a new one.
6. Prohibit live operation
Laser diameter measurement is a precision electronic instrument, and live operation is prohibited during use. If it is necessary to move equipment, unplug alarm lights, and power cords, the power must be turned off first.
